What they’re like

Once a cultured, traditional, refined club of Icelanders, Reykjavík is now a restless, aggressive, marauding unit, dominated by the on-field charisma – and aggression – of Sadun Lankathilaka, a sharp practitioner of gamesmanship in the WG Grace style, with beard to match. There remains a big Sri Lankan flavour in the squad, with their core quintet of Sinhalese players largely intact, despite the signing of Chamley Fernando by Hafnarfjörður.

Our Vision & Mision

I always believe I should able to work up to my potential level. As a captain’s point of view I suppose I should be capable of these entire tasks, which means Captain is an important role and energetic to team and club. Thus, they are the link between team members and coaching staff. A captain able to keep his team spirit to motivate his team. Also, he should improve his professional communication skills to guide his team to the potential level. In addition, understanding player’ s weakness and threats on the field, should captain support them to improve their strengths and maximizes their opportunities to achieve their individual goals.
